Pumpkin Pie Dip

It finally rained here! Of course the rain came on Halloween, so I felt a little bad for the trick or treaters, but so glad for our state. California is in a drought and it was so refreshing to have some rain. It was an eventful weekend to say the least, besides the rain and Halloween, my husband and I attended the 239th Marine Corps Birthday Ball. We’ve been to many birthday balls and this birthday ball was a fun filled weekend. As a treat, on the way home, we even made a little trip to Downtown Disney for lunch and sweets the day after the ball.

Since we had such a busy weekend planned we didn’t attend any Halloween parties.  I really missed making my pumpkin pie dip, it has become a hit at this time of year. This dip is awesome for Halloween parties, but it is also great for any November gatherings. If you’re like me and want to eat pumpkin year round, it tastes great in July too! I whipped the pumpkin pie dip up this evening to have as a snack and I will be sharing it with friends. It taste just like pumpkin pie and it only takes a few minutes to put together. What I love about it is that you can dip so many things into it: graham crackers, apple slices, Nilla Wafers, ginger thins, and the kids always love dipping Teddy Grahams. This dip is addicting. You have been warned.

  1. SO glad you guys in California received the rain you needed! We had seen several stories about it on the news and drought in CA is never a good thing… This dip looks amazing and so perfect for this time of year! I love how easy it is compared to making homemade pumpkin pie:)

    • Yes, the day after the rain was so beautiful. I hope we will get some more in the near future! As much fun as homemade pumpkin pie is when you are craving the flavors and don’t have the time to make a pie this definitely satisfies!
